The first album from Future Ape Tapes, Fuck The Future is a mostly sampled based project that involved taking old tapes, altering them in terms of speed, pitch, and effects then applying rhyme schemes "on top" of the loops. This record combines an affinity for the musical works of Brian Eno with the far out dub experiments of Lee "Scratch" Perry. The result is a spaced based fabric of hip hop narratives.

Fuck The Future was eventually picked up by Atlanta based label Double Phantom Records. CD copies are available for sale at Criminal Records in Atlanta as well as Wuxtry and School Kids Records in Athens, GA.
